New patients to Richey Wellness will be required to have two appointments initially. The initial appointment includes a consultation with the provider who will collect information from the patient including: intake questionnaires presenting complaints and symptoms, in-depth history, and other information that may contribute to the current state of health. Fasting labs will be drawn at this appointment at the discretion of the provider. This appointment should last a minimum of 50-minutes.
The following new patient appointment will be in 2-3 weeks. During this appointment, your provider will review with you, in detail, the lab results and discuss the treatment plan(s). This appointment typically is a minimum of an hour, depending on the complexity of the case.
The new patient consult as well as the follow up appointment will be billed to your health insurance plan.
Patients without insurance will be charged $325 for the first visit and $250 for the second visit.

Follow up visits include management of treatment plans or review of additional specialty labs. The frequency of follow-up visits will be determined by the complexity of each individual case.
The interpretation lab fee of $100 is in addition to a follow-up fee if specialty labs have been ordered. This fee is not covered by insurance, but the provider will let you know if this fee will apply to your treatment plan.

Pellet procedures for males will last for 6-months; therefore, men only need two procedures per year. Female pellet procedures last three months with an average of four procedures per year. The pricing of pellets includes the procedure only; the appointment itself may not be included. Additional charges may apply if other complaints are addressed. Unfortunately, insurance does not pay for pellet procedures, but the office visit can be billed to an insurance plan.
